I accept that politicians are liars, but it seems like the Republicans are telling the most obvious lies.

I am wrong? Is Obama/Biden lying much?

Republicans are more brazen about it. Possibly due to the intelligence level and/or fact checking willingness of their voter base.

Dems are not innocent in the matter, but it tends to be expressed more in a doublespeak manner.

Sorry, I don't see a lot of difference.

THey are Both Big liars , just depends on the day and situation as to who the biggest liar is , it changes Daily , Hourly.

My old man use to as ALL politicians are Morally corrupt and I can't say I disagree with them.
as ohio has said repeatedly this attitude is exactly what the republicans are counting upon. they are not equivalent -- look at the ads for yourself. claiming obama supported teaching 5 year olds about sex when he supported abuse-prevention education is asinine, just to cite one example among many. and one more: the whole "bridge to nowhere" business. repeating something ad nauseam does not lend it any more veracity!

can you name one issue that you were invested in & were still able to see the merits of both sides?

do you see obama's surrogates (most recently ethan winner) as absolving him of any responsibility for their distortions & lies? i'm speaking specifically of astroturfing (a.k.a. fake grass roots campaigns)

And McCain openly hires people to fake editorial letters on top of ads that aren't even close to the truth. Both sides lie, but Republicans lie more.

edit: republicans love doublespeak as well, it isn't limited to democrats, but it is what happens when you have a voting system to determine policy

I think I've pointed this out before, but you really don't have the credibility to make those arguments anymore.
