Presidential contender Ben Carson says prison inmates prove homosexuality is a choice

"Absolutely," Carson said when asked whether he thought homosexuality was a choice. "Because a lot of people who go into prison, go into prison straight straight. And when they come out, they're gay. So did something happen while they were in there? Ask yourself that question."

We sought clarification to ensure we heard correctly. A spokesman for Young said the “analogy was purposely hyperbolic to stress the point that these predators pose serious threats to wildlife management and their listing has damaging impacts to local communities.”
Have to say, I've never seen the word "hyperbolic" used in that sense...regardless, I'm a big fan of this idea

Democrats, as in elected to a high public office...

"Oklahoma: Voted for Republican president in last seven elections; two Republican senators; five out of five House representatives are Republicans; two out of past three governors have been Republicans; Republican-controlled Legislature."

AK
the only real consolation here is that once climate change hits, much of florida goes underwater.
Unfortunately, change is greatest at the high latitudes, not mid. On the other hand, AK is like the frigid mountain version of TX, lots of die-hard republicans that want their federal subsidies.
