i haven't done a road gap since i smashed my dick on the saddle.Once you sit on your old man balls while riding, there really is not question. You're old.

PatheticI can't tell is this thread is inspiring or pathetic!
I rolled my ankle rock climbing yesterday. At 30 I can no longer drink heavily all night on Saturday and make it to the first run on Sunday morning. I get the worst hangovers now. It's bloody cool to see that, from this thread, I just need to harden up!
So I'm not the only who gets unnecessary hangover effects from drinking a couple Stellas vs. other beers. That's good to know.Try changing your brand of beer.. I can still happily ride all day after 14 pints the night before but 3 or 4 Stellas and I'll have a horrendous headache by lunch time (basically when I've sobered up)
That's like 20 bottles of beer. Pretty sure I'd be dead D: I'm more of a rum or red wine drinker but do enjoy a Fat Yak pale ale or similarTry changing your brand of beer.. Yep it's amazing the difference quality spirits can have when it comes to hangovers. Good effort on the ride!I rolled my ankle rock climbing yesterday.
Drank scotch last night.
No hangover this morning (good scotch is worth the $), my ankle is about the size of a softball though. I did ride this morning, relying mostly on the opposite leg and not going too high off the jumps. I can barely walk...but I can ride.
It's not because people spend twice as long drinking it because they are smelling it, swirling it, commenting on the taste and how they know everything about the world because they drink fancy spirits?Yep it's amazing the difference quality spirits can have when it comes to hangovers. stella does the same to me. i think when a-b-inbev got a hold of the brand they started adding sub-par ingredients (and possibly rice) like they do with all their other piss waters. So I'm not the only who gets unnecessary hangover effects from drinking a couple Stellas vs. other beers. That's good to know.
I thought I was just a washed up twat when two of those gave me a headache, but then five of something else with higher alcohol content did nothing to me, so I went back to thinking I'm a golden god.
corn? there's your fvcking problem.Stella is advertised here as containing "only 4 ingredients" Hops, Barley, Maize and Water".
**** knows what they do to those 4 ingredients or where they get them from but I'd rather have a good batch of chemicals any day.
Holy shlt dude.I always found the fitter I was the better I'd wake up, from 18-21 a night out was 40 standard drinks
Holy shlt dude.
I used row (yeah that 'crew' thing) which was by miles the best shape I've ever been in. I'd hork down about 5 thousand calories a day, still lose weight, and had by far the lowest alcohol tolerance of any other period in my life (college years, so that same age bracket). It was kind of a running joke how easy it was to get a rower drunk. When I went to bikes and not the insane training schedule from crew, that stopped. That was a weird physiological period.
I still lurk every so often, just been busy the last few years.First time I see a post from Brian HCM#1 in a long while!
