...run Michelin DH tires backwards? Somebody made a post about this earlier, but that thread died, so I'll just start a new thread. I know this is a fairly common practice with some tires, and I was just curious if Michelins perform better when rolling the opposite direction of the little arrow on the sidewall.

All preference.

I run my Comp24's going forward in front, and backward in the rear.

When I ran Michelins I always ran the Comp 16s and 24s backwards to the arrow. The roll much faster and brake better.
