Here's the story:
I've dislocated both my elbows, one more recently. I've come to realize that they are never going to be as "solid" as they were again. I'm starting to look into elbow braces so I might just ask our friendly internet experts here first!
I'm wondering if there's anything special to these joint braces, if they need to be custom made to support the joints in certain ways or are they just generic tight wrap to keep the stuff together. If it's the latter I figure I could just get some high end elbow pads and get the same effect and some protection as well. (I never wear elbow pads and they wouldn't have saved me from my dislocations anyway.)
If this is the case, can people suggest good elbow pads that give comfortable support. If not, what's the system with loose joints and armor?
