I remember some of his work on the covers of various issues of American Heritage back in the 70's...

I have this print in my CIVIL WAR ART book I bought back in the 70's too..

That's funny. The name sounded familiar, and I remembered "Good Will Hunting", where Matt Damon compares Robin Williams' painting to this one.

I went to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art a while ago and saw a whole Winslow Homere exhibit. I also read a book about him. His paintings are cool.
