Fellow Monkeys,

My little brother is moving to Asheville in a couple of weeks and I want to ask for your help. He needs a place to live, and does not know exactly what he wants/where he wants.

Are any of you aware of any short term rentals, 3-6 months, while he decides exactly where he wants to be?

Thanks.

you can call Century 21 Demos Realty for short term rentals.
Land Lord Inc
Bayshore Company
Those are the ones off top of my head.
There are real estate companies that do that besides Century 21 Demos (pronounced dee-mose), but you'll have to call around.
Asheville Chamber of Commerce can help too. Google them.

hope that helps ya some.

west asheville is kinda the hip place to live right now with everything in walking disatnce. kinda pricey though. east asheville requires more driving but is on average 100-150 bucks a month less. north asheville is expensive and you have to deal with one of the worst roads in asheville to get in and out of the place.

I know a local artisan, vegan, crystal healer that will rent out his dreadlocks for say 5 bucks a night.
I hear the hobocamp has many highlights such as great mountain views etc.
