I am wanting to remove the axle from my atak alium pedals, but am having difficulty removing the axle once i remove the locknut. All i see inside the casing is the end of the axle and a bushing. Any hints??

I've had mine apart and if I remember correctly, it's just a tight fit. The axle just tapped out. Mine are an older pair and have loose bearings which I discovered once I got the axle out and saw bearings rolling everywhere. I'm not sure if the newer ones are using loose or sealed bearings, so use caution, or work over a bucket so you don't lose any.

The ones I have have a sealed bearing on the outside and a ceramic bushing on the inside.

Just get a punch and tap on the end of the axle, and it should pop right off.
