I'm planning on a wheel build and was curious if the Gen Issue rim is good for a rim brake set up? Looks like it has a good side wall but wondered if anyone else used this rim. Thanks!

I had one. It should be fine. Nice and wide area for pads with those.

i've used one for years. it worked great and stopped perfect. no complaints.

DOPE, thanks a lot guys. Yea I have a second Molly frame I'm gonna build up for a little freeriding.

yeah, I rocked out a set of those grey GI rims a few years ago. Solid hoops, if built up tight.

Never used a rim brake on'em though...
