Because I blew off my pedals 3 times in my DH race yesterday and missed a 5th place medal by only 8 seconds. A nice, sticky set of pedals could have made all the difference. Er, uh, well, at least they could have kept me on my bike!

I need em bad. I have now converted from clipless and have grown leaps and drops in freeride capabilities. I desperatly need to upgrade from these old GT pedals that have been worn out since I got them in 96.

Now that I've lost my job this summer I have more time to ride, but can't buy pedals....Third child on the way and wife watching all financial transactions quite closely.
