I've got a chance for a smokin deal on a set of Atomlab hubs...20mm front, 12mm rear, with 10mm bolt on adaptor. Anybody spent any time on these?? They look nice, but I'm mostly concerned with bearings and the freehub. They'll be my FR trailbike / backup DH wheels. And nobody say anything about weight....I don't care

Frrehub bodies are not very solid. Also i ran one and the freehub body threads snapped of inside hub. Also depending on front hub model some out there are still old school hayes style, ie seperate peice in the middle to line up, total pain in a$$. Unless they are sick cheap stay away, especially if freehub body durability/longevity is a concern

Duder, if you used the search function at all, you would see that the majority of the peeps on here are not very psyched about Atomlabs. Some of their products are ok(some might even be very nice), but their sheity customer service brings them waaaaay down in most peeps minds.

There was a post about Atomlab hubs a while back... Everyone confirmed the rear hub wasn't anything special...causing problems more than anything else.

Their front hubs are fine. I have a 20mm hub and so far so good. But then again, they're just 20mm bearings with some aluminum around them. Not many companies can screw that up.
