Urgent: SDMBA members needed to help purchase land at El Capitan Reservoir including a section of Anderson Truck Trail.
The River Park Foundation has been awarded a $1.1 million grant to acquire lands around El Capitan Reservoir. The grant was awarded by the Department of Water Resources of the State of California. The SDMBA has pledged at least $1000 to the San Diego River Park Foundation to help them raise matching funds for this grant. We need our members to contribute to this fund by December 31st. We would like to raise a total of at least $3000 for the Park.

SDMBA is a member of the San Diego River coalition. By making a contribution through SDMBA you help us become a true stakeholder in the Park. Few of us can afford to buy land to ride on but by leveraging our member's dollars the SDMBA can in turn help the River Park leverage it's member's dollars into land acquisitions which will help the SDMBA meet one of its mission's goals of maintaining access for mountain bikers on our county trails.
