Will a Fox DHX fit in a D8 because I know my Vanilla RC only just fits. This is governed by the spring diameter and the overall width from edge of spring (being towards the front of the bike) to far rear edge of the piggyback.

Anyone got a DHX on a D8 or got for real measurements of a DHX so that I can compare with the current RC I am running??

(Obviously shock length is not an issue, just depths and spring diameters)

Cheers

Theres a guy over here who has a 5th in the back of his D8, and even that took some persuasion, ie a torch, a dolly and a big hammer, I

would be willing to wager that a DHX wont fit, as it is substantially bigger than a 5th.
email keewee(who make/made D8s) and ask em what they think.

I saw in the lastest issue of dirt that MoJo have a service called retro fit where they can add pro pedal technology to your old Fox shock

Hiya SKT,a friend of mine wanted to fit a Vanilla DH(the one with the remote reservior off a Stab Primo) into his D8,but it would have required major surgery to the linkage and the top shock mount.
I'd say gettin your shock pro-pedalled would be the best option if the pro-pedal is what you're after.
If you're after more travel then its out with the hacksaw and welder!
