There had been a thing on TLC about something similar a while back. They had the suspension system mounted to a military humvee. The humvee had a closed wheel well video shot, and you were able to see the system in action.

NO WAY!!!! for years i've been saying how cool would it be to have electromagnetic suspension.
its cool to see someone else has thought of it and put it to work.

but for some reason i dont think it will make its way onto bikes, it just seems it would be a bit too bulky heavy and would you not need a reliable source of power?

Unless you could slip a little nuclear reactor inside a fork leg, I don't know...a rechargeable fork? That would kinda suck: "I can't ride my bike, it's charging"
