axle to crown height

    looking to get a fox 36 talas r, then send it to bcd and run it on a 29er. does anyone know the axle to crown height on the fork? fox doesnt have any info on their site except on their 29er ready fork.

    and im pretty sure the 36 does not accept a 29er

    Tweerts, if you read he is having BCD modify his fork to run a 29" wheel.

    bcd will mill out any threw axle fork to allow a 29er wheel for around $100. i plan on getting this service done. this also depends what the axle to crown height is, i will be putting this on a haro mary ss

    its 545mm i believe.

    edit - also i'd spend the extra $100 for the Rc2 instead of the R.

    nah only because im sending it to get milled out... its going to be the second best fork ive EVER been on so its all good. and thanks for the size, not to bad

    you will loose 1'' of travel in the conversion,
    so count on that.
