Can somebody tell me what spring size I need for the Romic on an Azonic Propulsion? 1.5" stroke, I weigh 170-175 with gear, 4x/DS/Trail riding applcation.
Romic told me 500#, but the former owner of this frame weighed 145# and used a 650#.
I see that Romic doesn't make a 650# spring for that shock..which is curious

It's kind of just personal preference. For 4X and DS I would want my bike to be as stiff as possible. However, for trail use, you would want it to be a bit softer. A 600 might be good for 4X or DS, but a 400-500 would be good for trail riding.

I don't know that I would take Romic's advice. They told my friend he needed to run a 350 pound spring on his DH bike. While the bike feels really plush on flat ground, once it goes of some drops, jumps, etc. he blows through the travel really fast...
