Well, I was able to enjoy 2 good days of riding. Nothing too special, unless you add in the meaning behind them.
Yesterday, I decided to ride the same course I used for my 5th Make-A-Wish event here in Gardnerville, behind Scarselli and Pau-Wa-Lu schools. Sure, it was rocky and sandy still (what, no paving of the service roads scheduled?), yet it was very relaxing and brought back the memories of helping a young'n with his wish to go to DisneyWorld in 2000. Sort of gave me the itch to host another event again.
Today, I did a road ride out to Alaina. Had to stop and return a video first, then continued on to see her. I keep forgetting that it's only 15 miles round-trip, and takes about an hour, plus visit time. Just a good, mind-clearing ride. Too bad the wild horses were "in hiding". That would've made it a perfect ride........
