Stosh, I have two pairs of Oakley shorts and they are awesome (but expensive). If you have a big keester like I do, they are tight around the waist when pulling them up. But once I get them up, they are very comfortable. Snug around the waist and chamois, but nice and loose everywhere else. I do not have the Static shorts though. I have Factory Pilots and another pair.

Remember though, every style of shorts fits people differently. I love the Oakleys, but you might hate them. MBC owns a pair of Oakley chick shorts and she doesn't like them (she's not a fan of baggies anyway).

Yeah I guess I'll just wear lycra!!! :)

Actually what you just said is my problem. I have a big butt and my pants always slide down. In fact Jackson had a nice butt pic of me from MBW he politely didn't post.

I have two pairs of those shorts, Stosh. They are the most comfortable shorts I own. They fit pretty much like IRB mentioned, though. They don't have elastic in the waist, so they are really tight going over the hips. Once they are on they fit extremely well.

One bonus for me, they are really long shorts. I'm 6'6" and most shorts aren't long enough for me. These come down almost to my knees, though.

I assume you're looking at the sale they had on Pricepoint? That's where I got mine. $30 or something like that. Definitely worth it.

Only downside is they are kind of ugly in my opinion. I was more concerned with comfort than looks, though.

They do kind of remind me of thoes Hyper Colors shirts from the early 90's.

I'm just gonna buy them then. So it's not elastic does that mean that it's a nylon belt?

That's not much of an issue for Stosh. Anything has to be an improvement over his current riding gear:
- one ugly jersey (though the ironhorse one is nice)
- one pair cammo shorts
- one pair polo sport socks

The Factory Pilots (I'm wering them in this pic) are not bad as far as looks go. The other pair I have are ugly....orange with big vent zippers on the thighs. I don't care how ugly they are, they are sweet shorts. :)

Yea... something like that I guess :blah:

Hey... remember at the raffle when they said that the only major injury was someone broke their ankle? Turns out it's a girl I ride with in my Wed night group rides... just found out about it yesterday.

Hey atleast she wasn't the girl who was "living large" and everybody laughed at.

Thats crazy that it was her. Hope she heals up well!

Cool - I'll never go back to a tripple again.

I'll be interested to know what you think of the shorts in terms of quality/material. I've been thinking about getting an oakley jersey, but was concerned that it might just by oakley hype.
