I have 2 headsets that needs bearings.

- CK nothreadset circa 2000 (1 1/8).
- Crank Bros Sage SL (1 1/8)

I've lost bearing from each on my cellar floor.
Does anyone know the size.....?.....they look similiar.....

Yes i could call the Manu's but maybe i could get a quicker answer here......and have them ordered sooner.:thumb:

CK headsets are cartridges. Just get a new one. Packing those things is not fun.
I just need 1 for the CK. Wasn't too bad repacking....

Need about 10-12 for the Crank Bros.

Don't have any calipers.

I was hoping someone would say "99% of headsets use 1/32nd bearings".....

You've got stronger thumbs than me......

Or just an older headset ;)

With only one ball missing, you probably could have just run it as is. Just like lance armstrong.
Yes thought of running it with the missing ball but also thought of selling it.....not going to sell it with a missing ball.

Chris King repsonded to email quickly.

They are saying the individual spheres should never fall out loosely.....so going to send it in and they are going to do a Warranty service.

I like how they call them spheres when the rest of the world says 'bearings'. Like they are more special being from a Chris King. Some sort of quantum loop perpetual energizing rotational sphere.
