Basically the NFL has a filter of words that you can't put on the back of a personalized jersey ordered thru one of their websites. How it came about was someone tried to order "GAY" but was told that was a naughty word eventhough a number of current players have the name GAY.

There is a list of 1150 or so things you can't get. Hitler, God, Satan, Fatso, Serial Killer, Osama, Jesus Christ and others most wouldn't have any problem thinking about.

All I can say is that I know that beyond a shadow of doubt who is responsible for this.......

No doubt dude...I'm surrounded by em here...all I know is, I'm in the wrong business...I need to open a store that sells ginormous die-cut raider emblems and calvin pissing on 49er emblem stickers...then I could leave the city with the annoying callers and retire early.

He has come up with numerous reasons for where HE HATE ME came from... however he told my wife at the grocery store that the HE is the other team.

Yes to the second part. He bagged on Randy Moss (new Raider by the way) for having a nappy fro, said it was disrespectful to his mother.

It was a fraternity nickname that I hated...but eventually got sick of fighting.

LL = Leaping Leopold(a Pope my roomie learned about in REL 101) or Ladies' Love(I smoked 50-ring maduro cigars in the chapter house pissing off visiting women when I refused to put them out).

Koolkeg = mellow herbtoker who usually got stuck buying/moving/tapping the kegs, and was never found to be far from one's shadow. Additionally, I am somewhat keg-shaped.

The best way to have a nickname stick is to show displeasure with it. My whole life I have avoided a nicknames despite several attempts by friends. Some of them took the worlds best poker face not to show my horror at the prospect of being called a certain name.

the two rules of nicknames.

1. You can't give yourself a nickname.

2. The more you hate it the more likely you are to be called it.

I have only seen 1 broken one time. 2 I have never seen broken.

Somebody should have told me that 15 years ago. I was used to correcting situations like that with a few well-timed public asswhoops. Well, you can't kick 40 butts all at once so I eventually learned to suck it up and deal. The WORST was when I would be introduced to ladies or complete strangers in that manner and would have to explain it to them before they knew anything else about me. I bet half the guys back then wouldn't have known my real name even had they seen it spraypainted on their cars!

Tell me about it...I wish someone would have explained that to me when I was 7 years old! Went to Chuckie Cheese for my 7th b-day so my dad and brother nicknamed me "chuck". They would tease me and make mouse jokes until I would cry and my mom would step in (still don't know why it upset me so much though :think: ) 23 years later and my brother still calls me chuck because it caused such a fiasco in my family!! :p
