Anyone know what the max tire clearance (24" & 26") is for each of the Banshee HT models (morph, sciroc, scratch)? I don't see it posted on the website. I did notice that the setup suggestions indicate you can run a 2.7 on the morph, but is that the max?

I ran a 24x3.0 Gazzi on my morphine the whole time I had it. Still had room to spare. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think all their models have the same clearance....

i have the morphine and the scirocco.

morphine 26" 2.7-2.8
24" 3.0
i'm running a 24X2.6 with mad clearance

scirocco 24-26 2.5 max

i'm running a 26X2.35 with about 3/8" of clearance on either side

these measurement also give you good mud clearance (which mean you can run the tire all the time and not have to use a smaller one in mud)

appreciate the input.

as a man who owns both the scirocco and the morphine, would you care to comment on how they differ? i am interested in both bikes and having a hard time deciding. the trail riding that i do is mostly fire roads and some moderate single tack (due to local conditions, not preference). i also do some urban and dirtjumps, but nothing very big. the trail rider in me wants the lighter scirocco, but the urban in me wants the morphine (same length top tube with shorter seat tube for more room to lower the seat, the slightly wider tire clearance, and the easier single speed setup option). i am not worried about strength of the frame since i think both are plenty strong for my needs. i would like to have a bike i can pedal (right now i have a dirtjumper and a dh sled). @ 6'1" i am thinking a 17" scirocco or a 16" morph. your thoughts sir?
