I'm looking for some bars to put on my bike. 24" wheels, so I was wondering if 1" would be too short. I don't like wingbars but I'm starting to think 2" of rise was good. Opinions would be appreciated.

There are too many options to mention, which is more complicated by the 24 inch wheels.

You could be running a bmx cruiser, which you might want 4 inch bmx bars...

Well, it's a TonicFab fallguy frame. Not quite sure on what the exact size is. Around 13" I believe. So Mtb obviously, small frame and I don't really know what else would make a difference in which bars I should choose. I'm not tall myself, 5'7 with a little growing yet.
