Barbells for Boobs

A few years ago, my sister was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Since her diagnosis she's gone through multiple surgeries including double mastectomy and is now in full remission. Since her diagnosis, I've pledged myself to do at least one event a year which would benefit breast cancer research. Without pledges and donations, I'm not sure where she'd be. So this year, myself a teammate are participating in Barbells for Boobs, Helen meets Grace. For those not familiar, it's a combinations of two Crossfit bench mark workouts. The first, Helen, consists of 3 rounds of 400 meter run, 21 kettlebell swings and twelve pull ups. Once the 3 rounds of Helen are complete, you move on to 30 repetitions of 135 pound clean and jerk. All are done as fast as you can. Below is a link to my fund raising page as well as a link to the Barbells for Boobs page:

Like in years past, if I reach my fund raising goal, I will compete wearing a tutu. I promise I'll wear compression shorts under said tutu.
