Hey everyone. Has anyone fitted a bash ring to they're crank or a bash plate
I like to try and play on rock and other stuff that can and will damage the crank and chain when it goes wrong, maybe even the frame.
I only purchased a specialized P. 1 as thought it best to wreck a older, cheaper bike learning rather than a newer, more one lol.

It should have ISCG 05 tabs on it so you should just need something like this, you could mount a bash ring but they put shock loads through your bearings which isn't ideal.

Hey hardtail. I see your point about the bash ring but would the type in the picture give enough protection as I use it like a trial bike(try to anyway lol) and seem to catch it just before the underside.
Is that the taco type, How do they fix
