At the race this weekend the end of the last lap felt like I was pedaling in mud, thought my legs were just wasted... nope... BB had gone bye bye. After the race I went to turn the cranks so I could mount the bike in the stand and they were almost completely seized.

Oh well... new BB time.

I raced with a broken bottom bracket earlier this year, it was pushing the cranks out and my chain kept dropping and getting stuck. It was awesome. NOT

I think that would have sucked worse. Still slowed me down probably as much as if I had to stop every few min. I bet I lost 10-15% of my power fighting BB friction.
