I picked up the FSA Pro Platinum BB and just last night got around to installing it. But there's something that doesn't seem right:
Previously I was using a Truvativ BB 68(73) /113, which means that I was using a drive-side spacer per my bike's shell width (68). The FSA is specifically a 68/113, which means I shouldn't need a spacer. However, after installation, the non-drive cup(?) is slightly recessed in the shell, exposing a mm or 2 of thread.
Does this sound wrong? Maybe I over tightened it?-- but it doesn't feel over-tightened.
