i just got a 2002 bb7, and i was just seeing what i like the upper or the lower mount for the shock.
but i was wondering what do the two on the frame do??
there is like a forward and back hole...
oh and one more thing, i got the regular with the fox RC and the 500lbs spring, and i bottom it out on like 3 foot drops, i only weigh 165lbs...
do you guys recommend a good sping weight???
i will keep the 500 for DHing, because it is so plush, but for freeriding, and doing urban it is not good.

Hey Peter, as for the holes in the frame by the bottom bracket, there was a thread about that awhile back but I can't seem to find it by the search. I believe KonaDude had a pretty good explaination for it, and I believe the concensus was that it did relatively little to nothing. I figured it couldnt be that important since it isn't even mentioned in the manual.

For your spring weight, I would email the nice guys at balfa and ask them.. I could guess but that's all it would be. There are lots of suspension gurus on here that would probably know aswell.. good luck
