Of the 664 people detained up to the end of last month, only 17 have been found guilty. Of these, the majority were Irish Republicans, Sikh militants or members of other groups with no connection to Islamist terrorism. Nobody has been convicted who is a proven member of al-Qaida.

Well its not like they have membership cards, special tatoos, club jackets or secret handshakes...this is a failry loosely aligned organization. That is one of the organizational downfalls they have. Bin Laden is the man...for now. Until another, crazier bitch splinters off into another group...not unlike the GoP and teh Tea Baggers.
