I remember hearing last year that the races at Beech were in part to be used to show how much support there is for lift assisted mtn biking here in good ole NC. I have not seen if there was ever a decision made on whether or not this type of riding will be approved at Beech or any other place in NC. Does anyone know if this will happen. Sorry if it has already been posted but I did not see it in the other threads.

Haven't heard anything yet. Last year it was races only.I am sure Trilliam, Mueler, Ryan. etc will post when the season gets closer.

hawksnest or "dirty bird" is working on a full bike park as it only runs tubing in the winter. talk to a guy on here named mulestar for info.

...We will be riding downhill trails, in addition to the DH track, at Beech Mtn this summer. Only a weekend operation and limited season length due to the snowfall/melt-off, but it should be a great start for a bike park here in the south.
