Course went weird overnight and got gutted. Huge ruts up top stopped my bike cold WHILE I aimed almost straight down hill and pedaling. Stayed clean and felt good coming out of the woods and had an insane mechanical that stopped me dead.
Bummed. My goal was for that jersey.

Aaron Gwin took a pretty good digger right where we were standing at the top of the rock garden. Caught a root in the mud, went OTB and slid into a tree. And a piece of mud almost went in my beer! 
Now it all makes sense. You ran out battery. I thought you put your camera down when you realized I was photobombing all your pics.
