Hey all... who's got a set of old 165s or 160s kicking around the parts bin? 2-piece, ISIS or even square taper? (104 preferred, cartridge BB also appreciated if applicable and you have one in 73/113...already has an outboard bearing BB for the time being.)

I have a loaner bike I built, and a newbie shorter rider could use the shorter cranks.

Shipping and a couple bucks and eternal gratitude await if you do. I know someone has some Hussefelts or something. Thx!

I will check Brother,I am thinking Race Face SqTaper Cranks. BB, I think Shimy 73/113 I still might have? Whatever the Voodo Baka HardTail Frame was, that is where stock came from. Don’t get happy,I broke a lot of BB’s with those cranks. Always a clean break it was. I’ll check All old stock for you. 165 for me is pretty Rare. 170 no good? How much time.

Thanks!! Unfortunately the 170s we tried were a little long for him. He is a new rider so square taper would suit him fine for now tho...

I might do some eBay isis cranks too if you haven't got anything. Depending on the bolt pattern of any old ones you have, the need to get a new chainring might make it cost prohibitive anyway. Super-appreciate you looking.

if you can't find anything used and have to get something new, lots of BMX cranks are available in those lengths. some can be had for under $100, but there's a weight penalty. they go all the way down two at least 110mm in 5mm increments, and there's even a few in 2.5mm increments.

hang tight, I'm getting my bits back

I talked to the guy who's been picking through them and there are cranks in there. They're going to be 170s but lots of holzfellers
Thx man--I pulled a set of 170s off my Canfield to try and they were still too long. Really appreciate it.

Also this would be Stinkybike material I'd think...

Thanks a ton to all of you guys for looking.

Given my choice of what's here, I'd prefer to take the Zee cranks @Cerberus75 mentioned. I have the BB installed already and they'd fit the bike's use. Again, really appreciate everyone looking through their bins and basements for me.

If something falls through with those, I'll let you all know. I'm sure the Stinkybike donation efforts (see Lounge thread) could use the parts you all dug up. @gonefirefightin is coordinating that, and I'm looking to send him parts, too.

Anyone wants to come down to El Salvador to ride, I'll be glad to show you around and provide the beer from my kegerator.

Sorry. I must have sold/given them away and forgot.

Forgot to give public thanks to @Electric_City for both donating the goods and dealing with USPS on behalf of my newb rider here.

Very much appreciate everyone's willingness to help.

It's very cool to keep the old Turner relevant. Still my favorite bike of all time, despite becoming a Canfield fanboi by proxy.

Update: Received, installed, and seem to fit the rider properly, so thanks again!!

Since some jackass backed his bike rack into a pole, I lost the old FSA carbon bar on there to the impact and subbed in this Ti flat bar for the moment. Will have a replacement in a week or three.

Cranks seem to fit the rider well. Unfortunately he just messed up his ankle...running...so now he will need a few weeks before he can run.

Yeah the headset spacers under the stem really tie it all together

I might have a 120mm stem somewhere too

I definitely have a bar to put on there. Just waiting for my new Protapers so I can swap in the bar from that bike.

And there's a Titec 110mm in easy reach, too.

As for lever position, I have flexible wrists. (Actually waiting for rider to adjust everything to fit his small, cabbage-scented hands.)

And I just helped him buy a small Giant Reign today, locally. Oxymoronic, but cool. And yet annoying that this whole thing was kind of unnecessary now. Appreciate all the support and hope @Electric_City found a good six-pack for his efforts.
