so I used to bleed my brakes the old fashioned way and never really got around to buying a bleed kit untill the other day. it was only 20 bucks and I thought it would be a good deal if I liked it, and I could put it in my race box.
since then I have bought two, one for mineral oils and one for the DOT type fluids. It is pretty much universal and even though they say it might degrade with the use of the DOT type fluids it works fine. I did my saints witht he mineral oil and the hayes with the DOT fluid. man It makes things so much easier, less mess, no air at all with instant feedback after tapping the lines with a screwdriver and watching the bubbles go up the tube. the little clamp device gets a great seal and all the excess fluid goes right back into the bottle. makes it a one hand job. plus you can measure exactly how much fluid you are using to guage for loss if you have problems down the road. but I am anal about that kind of stuff. I wish someone would have talked me into this sooner. for the price you cant beat it.
