Looking for something I can put clear lens into, goggles to bulky for some trails I do. What is the cheapest toughest with clear lens? Any recommendations? Thanks!

Honestly safety glasses are the best for the price, most are anti fog and the designs aren't too bad now.
You should be able to get a pair of tinted and a pair of clear for ~$20.

If you don't like that idea I have a couple of pairs of Adidas glasses that came with two sets of lenses. I got mine for $70 in Australia on sale so I'd imagine they would be cheaper elsewhere, solid price for glasses made in Austria.

I have Tifosi Ventoux and find them very comfortable. They are light weight and come with 3 sets of lenses for varying conditions. They were around $60 so while they aren't the cheapest, they are much more affordable than $300 Oakleys.

It got a pair of Tifosi sunglasses with their "transition" lenses. They go from clear to smoke which I found is perfect for mtn biking in a shady forest. But they still work fine in full sun. I've even used them at night.
