i want to start doing night riding and a 24 hour race soon and was wondering what people think is the best bang for the buck lighting system...

a lot of it will hinge on whether the manufacturer of your choice will be at this race swapping batteries and such... but fwiw i am very satisfied with my cateye stadium 3.
