WOW....that is really quite impressive.

I wonder how his neighbors feel about it. :D
If my neighbor did that I'd make sure to invite all my friends over to see it.

There is a house a block form my moms house that is known to put up an amaing amount of decorations for xmas, he started doing it 15yrs ago. Now it is bigger than ever , other houses on the block have started to follow. The news crews are always there putting it on tv. Cops come there just to direct traffic. peoeple started coming there to sell stuff like glow sticks, you can find a rea l life santa , elmo, barney goofy etc there.. all collecting money for hopefully a good cause.. it has gotten way out of control. It takes over 1/2 hr to get up the block by car, it even cuses massive gridlock up to 2 blocks away. i feel bad for ppl that live on the block http://www.brooklynx.org/tourism/day/neighborhood/dyker.asp

if i were his neighbor, i would pull a bulb out of his set up.

I really don't think that would affect the display, sorry to dissapoint you :)

(new fangled christmas lights are run in parallel, not series, so if you pull a lamp, it doesnt matter. Plus, since none of them are plugged into each other, it would only take out one or two strands.)
