If you can make it over the Tappan-Zee (yes its NY but its very close to north jersey) visit endless trail in dobb's ferry, they carry DH, DJ and freeride stuff, maxxis dh tires, all the transition components and frames, few DH completes, brakes, they have lots of stuff.
go to Marty's and talk to Yukon then. him and I have been DHing for years and been working on them just as long.
CycleWorks in Andover is a great shop. John is the owner and is a great guy to deal with. I see him at Diablo from time to time.

Which is, sadly, closing at the end of the month. Great guys there and very knowledgeable about DH stuff.
The mechanic at Knapp's Cyclery races downhill. The shop also has a downhill team. They usually have a DH bike or 2 at the shop.
Plus one for marty's reliable. If yukon works there then it must be good. I however work at a shop that carries dh bikes, but I am the only one who has knowledge of mountain bikes. Hmmm.
We're in NY but we are a mainly Mtn. Bike shop with a full staff of Pro DH racers. We rebuild suspension (except coil rear shocks), pivot bearing replacements, wheel building and more.
You can find us at our US-Open pit this year (and last) under the orange Kona tent and look for our team out there on new Kona Operator's.
