I need a new stem for my RFX. It's got a z150 fork and will be used for freeride, trail, and some N* style. I'm thinking 60mm 0-rise thomson, or sic.
I'm only 160lbs and not hard on stuff so lighter the better.
I'm also gonna get an ea70 bar but not sure whether to get the 1.5 or 2" rise.

Any help is appreciated, thanks

you really can't go wrong with either Thomson or S.I.C. Both companies make killer products. The Thomson will probably be lighter, and certainly strong enough for your needs. I highly recommend either company. The easton bars are light and strong, but the rise will be your personal preference.

I actually have a 50mm Thomson stem and a 1.5" rise bar on my hardtail, and it's perfect. That would be my recommendation.

I agree with dexter. That combo of stem length/bar rise is perfect for what you described.

If you don't mind a tech polish stem on your bike, get a truvativ holzfeller stem at www.greenfishsports.com for $30, I think they ran out of the black stems, but they still have polished. I have a holzfeller, and it's really nice. :thumb:
