Yeah...that's pretty good stuff. I use the non-chlorine car brake cleaner stuff...I only use it when I put new pads in.
alocohol, and maybe throw it in the oven.

Anyone ever tried an Acetone>Iso>rinse in water process to clean theirs?

That's a good way to crack your pads and burn your fingers really bad because you forgot to let them cool.

I do the alcohol on a clean rag followed by light sanding with a piece of emery cloth (sand pads too)

Yeah I've started to not use the Brake Cleaner stuff anymore. It seems to leave a film on that is supposed to burn off under the heat an automotive brake can produce. Iso alcohol and steel wool usually do it, with a light sanding of the pads before you put them in.

Gun scrubber, every time.
I yank the pads, spray out my calipers to get the dust, then I yank the rotors off, spray them down, take some scotch brite pads to them, bob's your uncle.
