Looks fun, but it also looks like it takes much more skill to ride than a normal bike. Seems more like novelty than innovation. They should come up with a way to make the rear headset lockable for normal riding.
What is the advantage of this thing? that it is small enough to carry up stairs? I'd rather ride a normal bike or drive a car.(with a bike on my bike rack...)
It is just missing the giant spring so it can be a swing bike.
I would think that if you could rig some centrifugal clutch type hub in that wheel you'd could get a more practical top speed for commuting, without the addition of external drivetrain bits.
Loo, a guy had one in the parking lot at Windrock and couple Fest ago. Was funny as hell watching people give it a try. I wanted to but already had a few to many in me. It would have been ugly.
