Not saying this is all sweetness and light on China’s part but once you dig into it it smells a lot like Iraqi WMDs did; some strong hype and projection based on much less serious facts.
I tried for a few hours to find direct evidence of this for myself. I failed. I found a lot of hearsay and these ‘reports’ so often referred to seem to be produced by two people, both with strong ideological ‘conflicts of interest’ to say the least, and the reports themselves seem to be based almost entirely on testimony from ‘politically motivated’ defectors.What about this one?
