Big Bear officially opening back up?

On their website it states that the only restriction is going to be that bikes must be less than 45 lbs.

Common gravity logic, build some wc style, "dh bike needed" trails!

I just hope its not all slopestyle ie winterpark (which is really fun) but not dh bike stuff.
Great news for local businesses, vacation rentals!

Cant wait to se some marketing material..posters for shops, promo vids for us here..etc

To be fair, Socal already has lots of DH/rocky type stuff. A little more FR oriented trails wouldn't be such a terrible thing.

Well there is one dh trail in oc, 1 in sd, 1 in ie, 1 in sb, and...mammoth which has everything now.
I love jump parks, I just hope theres at least one wc worthy trail built...with chairlift ride!

As gwin said, all the courses are getting short, flat, and bike park style.

so is the 45lb weight limit for the lifts that carry the bikes?

i was trying to think why they would implement something like that and thats the only idea i could come up with..
