    23.5

So, I'm thinking maybe big wheels could work for me. Iv'e always ridden hardtails (and dh bikes). I am thinking 29" (or 650b) would be more proportionate for me. Im 6'4 about 190, lanky.

I ride in new england, usually tightish trails, so thinking short as possible chainstays. I also want a slackish HT, I have the most fun riding fast and railing turns, ride flats for XC always. I currently ride a NS surge, as it was the only bike with geo I liked, long, slack(ish) and low tt. It has a 23.5 tt which is nice as it alows me to use a short stem for everything. I ride 1x9 and with a 85-130mm fork to fit bassically anything I want to do.

I was hoping to find something along these lines in 29, but I am having trouble. Any thoughts?

I am actually thinking mickey's (spooky) horror taxi 650b might fit the bill the closest?

I thought of that, looks amazing, the only thing turning me away is the price. The HT angle is steep too, but I guess I really dont know how a slacker one would work on 29's

    Sean,
RD and I are building a small batch of slightly stronger HorrorTaxi frames in Medford in the next few weeks. Garson and I are also finalizing the geo for a more low-seat and flatpedal, footdownl oriented frame as well. Drop me or RD a line and we can getcha setup with something asap...

If you want to go 29'r FTW's SimonBar is the best 29'r agressive trail hardtail you can get, ATMO.

Sinister Simon Bar - if there are any to buy
    Banshee Paradox
Canfield will have their Nimble 9 I think it is called one of these days but they aren't ready to buy yet
Spooky Horror Taxi (or the new one in the works that Mickey mentions)for 650b
You can run 650bs in Sinister Ridge frames to methinks (Mickey can you confirm)

Soul Cycles Icon frames fith 650bs

Also the Chumba HFX1 or whatever it is called has room for dual 650bs

I don't know how the EWR OWB 29er would be with anything longer than a 100mm fork - maybe you could go 120mm and be okay.

It all depends on what type of BB height you want to have in a sense.

    Check it out...
Lots of info over on mtbeer in the banshee forum as well

I just got mine built up. Still in the getting to know it phase. Sounds about like what you are looking for and at a decent price point.

The Canfield Nimble 9 will also be up your alley, but won't likely be state-side any before Summer. I think they just finalized the details with the factory overseas in January and were hoping for 2-3mo for delivery. Pricing will be similar. Sizing is more compact than the Banshee, but it sounds like you like the shorter TT anyways.
