I'm looking at an '08 Big Hit 3 with an upgraded fork (Marzocchi 66 VF). How much is the bike worth? Is this a good choice for light DH and freeride?

Looks like the brakes & cassette/drivetrain were changed.

I think you would be fine with that set up. But if you get more into the downhill side of things you will probably want a dual crown up front. But if your just looking for a bike to do light DH and FR i think you covered.

That bike actually was spec'd with a 888 and MSRP was $2900. With a new wheelset $1300 ain't bad. If the bike is overall in good condition than the price sounds fair. See if he'd cover shipping too (for a complete bike, shipping can run about $100, unless he can get it discounted through an employer).
