If you have the money for a Super T, go for it. The valving and adjustability is far better than that of any Drop Off. I can't honestly think of a better DC fork for the money than a Super T, unless you find a RS Boxxer Team in good condition for a similar price (although I think you may have to Black Box it to make it a stellar fork). There's so much more than travel in forks, which is why on a budget I think I'd only consider these two.
white brothers are great but expensive. hes referring to the manitou stance kingpin. its there entry level dh fork. killer deal for how much it costs. its way cheap andits actually a decent fork http://www.answerproducts.com/items.asp?deptid=1&itemid=127
That Kingpin looks like a cool fork, but apparently it isn't all that burly? I just read a review that said that the crown broke on it. It just came out! But that's just one review. It's very nicely priced at $500US on www.jensonusa.com. My only other reservation is that it doesn't have a full oil bath. After what my friends have experienced with the reliability of the new Sherman line from Manitou, I personally would stay away from it. But, TPC+ does rule. I still would go used Super T or Boxxer Team.
