I am looking to possibly build up a BH. A few questions:

I plan to use the DH linkage setup so......

What are the differences between the BH Comp, Expert, and Pro frames?

Can they all take the DH linkage?

Is the DH linkage still available from Specialized?

Thanks

All your questions can be answered on their website. The BH rocks for the price... :thumb:

No difference in the frames except the color. It's just parts pick that changes between the models, and all can take the new linkage.

It depends what year bh you are talking about up untill 03 the comp and dh models had the same frame just different linkage. From what I understand it has been discontinued but can be found with some great effort. In 03 the comp is the same as the previous years but the dh frame was changed, the frame to linkage piviot point was revamped and linkage was changed completely. In 04 the dh and comp frames and linkages are the same but the shock and stroke are different. What year bh are you looking to play with?

the BETD linkage just allows for a 26" rear wheel on the bh, it replaces the seat stays. you need the specialized 8" link for that setup. Avalanche sells the Southbridge 9" link but the link is $250 then you need a 9i2ix3.0 shock, the Avy shock is $550 but you might be able to use a manitou spv springer 4 or 6 way also.
