I just picked up a 2010 Gary Fisher Mamba knowing full well that she's a heavy lady.
I am looking for opinions on how to put the new girl on a diet.


I'm new on the forums and I haven't found any other posts of the topic. I hope I'm not rehashing old new.

Any suggestions on a good wheel set under 400 dollars?

I think the fork (rockshox dart 3) is carrying extra weight at 5 pounds. Fox forks seem like a lot of money to shave not much weight.

Suggestions on a fork as well? I've been digging through different brands but without experience the numbers don't mean much to me

Dump the Dart in favor of a Salsa Cromoto Grande rigid fork.
