I would like to give a huge shout out to Rockgardn.
I yardsaled (caught a pedal on one of the fast, off-camber traverses)going ~25mph at Whistler on Saturday while wearing the FlakJacket (without the forearm/elbow pieces...doh...) and the LZMX knee/shin combo. The pads took all the force and I'm just sore with a little bit of road rash on my right forearm (cause no pad...). The shoulder, backplate, and knee cup of my right knee are completely munched from all the sliding and rolling and I was able to get up and laugh about one of the most violent crashes I've ever had.
The knee/shin combo get the best praise of all for not sliding down one bit. They were still in place when I finally stood up. Bad ass. Just wanted to give credit where credit is due.

P.S. My Fox V3 also did an admirable job of keeping my melon intact. I now need a new helmet after sliding a good 15 feet on my face.
