my 03' bighit dh frame is coming in the mail tommorow, and I have a few questions about the frame.

what size spring is approperiate for me? i'm 225 lbs, and will be using the 8.1 inch travel mode primearaly. also the shock is a fifth element.

also, what do the three top shock mounting holes do, I know that the bottome ones effect the travel/head angle

The three top shock mounts change the geometery. The holes on the bottom link change the travel, BB height, and make it linear or progressive. There is a sticker near the chainguide which will tell you all of the options. Make sure you read my note that I enclosed in the box.

Top 3 holes change the progressiveness. Bottom 4 change travel and geo,

which is the most progressive, and which is the least progressive?

lower is most progressing, closest to the seat tube is least progressive
