OK I finally found one of those simple angle finders ....what you would use on a head tube to see where your bike is sitting. So I decided to measure all sorts of stuff on my bike. Mind you it was late and I wasn't being super exact in my measurements. How do these compare to your rigs? Real #'s you took, not what crap the manufacturer puts on it's web site.

Where did you find the angle finder and how much did it cost?

I have been really curious about this as of late.

Well I went to Tacoma Screw up in the Seattle/Tacoma, WA area. No luck at run of the mill hardware stores around here.......I just happened across it. I had given up finding one. It is a simple tool and cost like $10

Well I was recently in my LBS and asked my buddy about where to get an angle finder and he shows me this real nice digital one from a company called M&H Building.

Long story short I have some angles from my 03 Bullit with an 03 Super T.

Tires are the same size and model front and rear with equal air pressure. Shock shuttle was set in the slack position. I also checked the floor to see make sure I was using a level surface.

Wheelbase: 44.5"
B.B. height: 15 1/16"
Chainstay length: 17"
SA: 67.7*

And the big suprise to me, HA: 65.9*

A tip for ya. When you are measuring angles, make sure you measure once, flip the bike 180 degrees and measure again. A lot of floors aren't level. If you measure the bike facing both directions, the average of the measurements will be the real angle.

I didn't mention that but I did that too. Just happened to read the same either way. I even used a level to check the "zero'd" setting was correct.

But good point with the flipping of the bike....I guess not everyone would think about that......
