There is a thread on NSMB where several whistler residents and employees have stated the mountain is scheduled for an April 9th bike park opening, weather permitting. Anyone have any other info on this? That's like umm... two and a half weeks off.

haha,,,, i read that a while back too. It seems to be debatable if there gonna open. seems the Telus ski festival is that weekend...... i hear thats one huge event.
does it really matter if its in 3, 5, 8 weeks? this is going to be a long and hot summer full of many many whistler days...plenty of time this season to get your garbanzo groove on
